There is an original time, and there are newly created, artificial, and false times. According to this conception, the course of human civilization is moving toward dangerous changes concerning time itself. We are gradually deviating toward an artificial and unreal time, and through it we experience unreal events. These imaginary events accumulate to such an extent that consciousness becomes unable to maintain its proper rhythm.
The more imaginary events increase and accelerate, the greater the possibility that consciousness will become lost within this acceleration. Therefore, if you want to survive, you must realize that there is something wrong with this time, and that things are not proceeding as they once did. And within this deviation, there is always a beneficiary.
Original Time and Artificial Time
Original time is the time in which God exists, and it has its own rhythm, precise and wise. As for artificial time, the farther it moves away from original time, the more it leads human beings toward chaos and randomness, because the proper rhythm and correct order disappear from it.
From here comes the concept of the Antichrist as the beneficiary of this artificial time; for taking human beings out of the original and natural rhythm of their existence makes them more receptive to accepting lies and defending them.
People cannot believe what is known as the Antichrist unless their minds and beliefs are first tampered with, doubt is planted within them, and their stability is shaken and destabilized. An irrational thing cannot easily be accepted by rational human beings. Therefore, in order for the system of the Antichrist to pass absolute madness, it needs to reject the rational and promote the foolish, turning madness into freedom, lack of insight into wisdom, and chaos into a value.
The person who has departed from the proper rhythm of original time, and whose heart has begun to beat to a rhythm that glorifies chaos and randomness, eventually becomes receptive to almost anything and rejects the one thing he should have accepted. He believes everything except the truth, gives possibility to everything except the truth, and says everything except the truth.
This disruption of the original order is what prepares the way for deception to appear in its most prominent form, transforming humanity into a vast arena of chaos and glorification of what is most despicable.
Tampering with the Mind Begins with Fundamentals
But how can a human being be brought to this state?
Tampering with the mind begins by planting doubt in fundamentals and self-evident truths. A mind cannot stand without fundamentals; fundamentals protect the mind, and the mind protects the fundamentals. There is a reciprocal relationship between them: the mind needs primary principles from which to begin, and these principles need a mind to preserve and defend them.
When doubt is planted in fundamentals and self-evident truths, the mind gradually turns away from its rational nature of preserving these fundamentals and becomes a disturbed and chaotic mind whose goal is no longer construction, but rather the destruction of beliefs.
At that point, we may see a belief whose purpose is to refute beliefs, where doubt in fundamentals becomes a fundamental itself, and rejection of self-evident truths becomes self-evident. When matters reach this stage, an essential piece of what is known as the end of time has been completed.
The mind is not evil. And self-evident truths are not the enemy of the mind. Likewise, claiming that the mind deceives a person and then asking that person to trust the one telling him that his mind deceives him contains an obvious contradiction.
If you are told that your mind is deceiving you, then by what means can you be certain that the person telling you that your mind is deceiving you is not deceiving you as well?
It is a simple rational argument: if the mind itself is not trustworthy, then by what instrument will we distinguish truth from deception? And if what I perceive as self-evident in my original nature is bad or evil, how can I be certain that the one asking me to reject it is good?
When Construction Becomes Evil and Destruction Becomes Good
Those who promote these poisonous and distorted prescriptions tell people that the fundamentals they inherited and the self-evident truths they believe are evil or bad. But if the foundation is bad, then the structure built upon it will be bad. And if destruction becomes good while construction becomes bad, then this is, in reality, a call to killing, corruption, collapse, extinction, suicide, and crime, even if this is not stated directly.
The idea becomes similar to someone saying that order is bad and chaos is good, and that construction is bad while destruction is good.
But they are too cunning to acknowledge the ultimate consequence of this logic.
A person who is convinced that his foundation is bad, and that destroying what was built upon it is good, eventually becomes willing to destroy everything. Therefore, the fundamental objective is to cast doubt on the coherence, usefulness, and value of the structure, and to cast doubt on everything upon which that structure depends in order to stand on its feet.
Every structure has pillars and foundations. And when the foundations are attacked, the structure collapses to the ground.
Therefore, the one who casts doubt upon the original foundations upon which the human being was built does not merely want to discuss them; he wants to destroy them and crush the structure that rests upon them.
Removing the Foundations and Turning the Human Being into a Puppet
Fabricating rules and giving a human being fragile alternative foundations does not solve the problem, because when a person abandons his original foundations, he will not necessarily find alternative foundations that suit his nature better than his original ones.
The alternative foundations may be nothing more than bait that tempts a person to follow them and then makes him their prisoner, until they collapse upon him at any moment.
There is a vast difference between a structure built on solid foundations and one built on soft ground. The first gives its inhabitant reassurance and stability because he does not fear its collapse. The second makes its owner anxious and terrified because he realizes within himself that what he built upon is fragile and may collapse upon him at any moment.
Here we understand the meaning of decision.
Decision is connected to the ground and the foundation. When we say that a person is "without a foundation," the meaning is that he has no basis upon which to stand. And when we say that something falls "without a foundation," the meaning is that it falls without a bottom at which it can stop.
From here we can understand the process of destruction we are discussing: it is the process of turning a human being into a puppet without a decision.
When a person loses the foundations and principles upon which he depends, and which depend upon him at the same time, he will no longer have a stable opinion or a decision. He begins to fall, and then continues falling, because everything begins to collapse, and there is no clear level at which this destruction stops.
It is like a stick of dynamite when its spark ignites; it begins in one part, then moves to another, and each part ignites another part, until the entire mountain collapses.
Thus, a human being who has no original belief, no sound principles, and no solid foundations becomes a person without decision and without an opinion.
And this is precisely the human being sought by the false system: a person without identity, without belief, without foundations, in order to serve lies, corruption, and deception.
The falling person, while falling, wants to make others fall, and the perishing person, while perishing, wants to make others perish.
Freedom Without Foundations or Falling Without a Decision?
The process of casting doubt upon foundations is, in essence, a process of corruption carried out by one who has been stripped of foundations; that is, a being without foundations or a basis, living life without any fixed principle.
If the matter were merely about freedom, then freedom itself would not be the problem. But the problem is that this freedom becomes a means of corrupting rules and foundations. The more this person corrupts a rule or foundation, the more free he feels, while in reality he is destroying the ground upon which he stands.
He perishes because he falls without a decision.
Therefore, this deceptive system cannot succeed unless rational people are rejected, fools are promoted, pressure on the structure is increased, and attempts are made to blow it up and dismantle it, search for its weaknesses, and unite against its strengths in order to bring it down.
The larger the structure, the louder its fall. The collapse of a great structure leaves behind many ruins, and those waiting for its fall can feed upon those ruins and then use this collapse as a means to bring down an even greater structure. And so the process continues.
Self-Defense Begins by Not Destroying the Foundation
And here comes the question: How does a person defend himself?
Strangely, merely having an opinion that differs from what is popular has sometimes come to be treated in this age as though it were illegitimate. As if a person has no right to defend himself or to see things as he sees them because what is popular is considered the standard.
But if what is popular is false, as we discussed previously, then opposing the false popular view is not a mistake; it may be a necessity.
When you tell a person, "Defend yourself," he may ask: Why should I defend myself? And who is threatening me?
But logic says: Defend yourself against the one who wants to destroy you.
This does not mean that you are evil, nor does it mean that everyone else is bad. Rather, it means that there may be someone who could exploit your weaknesses. You may not be aware of the cracks appearing in your walls, while there is someone watching those cracks and exploiting them.
You may not know, you may not notice, and you may not see the weak points in the structure. Therefore, the warning comes to tell you: Pay attention.
Self-defense requires not doubting a correct fundamental merely because it is a fundamental. The more you possess a correct and stable fundamental, the more destroying it without reason becomes a destruction of part of the structure that protects you.
If you destroy the foundation upon which you stand, you are not destroying something external to yourself; you are destroying yourself.
Therefore, preserving self-evident truths and original foundations is not a call for stagnation. Rather, it is a defense of the ground upon which the mind stands, and of the structure that gives a human being the ability to distinguish between truth and falsehood, between order and chaos, and between construction and destruction.
In the end, the problem is not that a person asks, searches, or thinks. The problem begins when questioning turns into perpetual destruction, doubt into a creed, chaos into a system, and destruction into a goal.
A human being needs to know what he can destroy and what he cannot do without, because the one who destroys all his foundations does not necessarily become more free; he may simply become a human being falling without a decision.
Therefore, true awareness is not only the ability to doubt, but also the ability to know what deserves doubt and what deserves protection; because the mind does not live in a vacuum. It needs a foundation upon which to stand, a sound rhythm within which to remain ordered, and a truth to which it can return whenever chaos attempts to pull it away from it.
