The Mind and the Pen

It is called the pen, and it is also referred to by another name, which I have not mentioned until now: the mind. Therefore, the pen is the first mind, and I did not mention this until everything was settled. And {Read in the name of your Lord who created (1) Created man from a clinging substance (2) Read, and your Lord is the most Generous (3) Who taught by the pen (4) Taught man that which he knew not (5)} Surah Al-Alaq. Thus, there are two aspects: the first mind or the first pen wrote the eternal knowledge, and our pen writes the present knowledge. Your mind writes the subheadings under the main title that the first mind has inscribed.

What are the areas called between the larger branch and the smaller branch?

These joints (areas) in the main branch from which the secondary branches sprout are called nodes, and they are also called knuckles. This means that the knuckle is what creates the sub-path, and this affirms our statement that the mind is what draws the path. The knuckle or node creates the path with water.

The first node of the universe is where the natural path I spoke about in the course began, and we say mind, knot, pen, and so on.

However, every knot is between two things; the knot is always between the larger and the smaller thing. There is a social contract by the philosopher Jean-Jacques Rousseau, which presents covenants between rulers and the public. And there is a cosmic contract between God and His servants, which is why the pen wrote the fates that lead the servant to God...

This means that every knot or let us call it a covenant written by the first pen is between the servants and God, and these are the very names. This means the mind connects the ignorant to the knowledgeable and the poor to the rich.

The mind is a knot and a relationship between the branch and the root, containing eternal covenants of providing water to all creatures, and here water is what revives everything and is the completeness of the names in terms of sanctity. Because sanctity is the purification from faults and defects, and if the branch is left by the mind, it falls into defect, wilts, and dies. Therefore, water flows from the completeness of life and sanctity to the servants so that they do not fall into faults, mistakes, diseases, and evils to avoid wilting and dying. This is the covenant.

Every defect is a deficiency of water because the essence (seed) of everything is complete, and the manifestation of everything requires water to be perfected and sanctified from faults. This is a covenant between the essence and the manifestation. Wherever you turn your face, you find this covenant, between the son and his father, between the ruler and the ruled, and between God and the servant. As a side note, keep in mind the whisper of Satan - you are in this life a servant and nothing else - because you are in constant need of the water of God descending from the sky of truth and from the sky of the earth as well. You are the small one in the presence of the Great Exalted.

We return again to His saying in Surah Hud, verse (7) {And His throne was upon the water.} Every time you understand a deeper understanding, it means that the essence was upon sanctity... This is the last awareness I reached, meaning our Mighty One informed us that there was nothing but He was a sanctified essence only... in antiquity, and this is His state in eternity.
