Spiritual Essay: Embrace, Commitment, and the Reality of Bonding in an Age of Illusory Freedom
Introduction: The Language of Embrace That Souls Understand
At the core of human existence lies an eternal truth that transcends rational logic and speaks directly to our deepest being: “Souls understand nothing but the language of embrace.” This is not merely a physical embrace, but a symbol of a greater secret: the act of “embracing” in the sense of commitment— to adopt a higher meaning, to commit to a truth that illuminates one's path, and to willingly bind oneself to a principle that grants value and purpose.
Here emerges the greatest paradox of our age that worships freedom: true human fulfillment is not achieved through frantic pursuit of liberation from all constraints, but through deep awareness that salvation lies in bonding. A human being who fails to embrace a core meaning in life becomes meaningless himself— an empty entity, like a rib cage that does nothing but inhale and exhale in a futile cycle, a purely biological existence lacking the soul that grants true life.

1. The Illusion of Freedom: Escaping the Cage into the Void
One of the greatest fallacies of modernity lies in glorifying freedom as an end in itself— a profound illusion that leads its seekers from a narrow cage into a far more desolate void. This clamorous demand for freedom is, at its core, a cry often uttered by those incapable of mastering their own inner wild nature, or what should rightly be called their “animality.” The one who embraces a truth is truly liberated; he begins to “breathe outside the existential cage.” As for the pursuit of aimless freedom, it does not liberate— it throws its seeker into a larger, more terrifying cage: the void of meaninglessness and nihilism.
This explains the seemingly strange confession: “By God, I do not love freedom; freedom makes me anxious.” This is not a call to enslavement, but a revelation of deep existential terror. Unlimited choices, when lacking a guiding principle, lead to madness— the terror of emptiness, the panic of endless time without purpose, where one finds himself “pulling his hair out” in confusion. In this void, so-called freedom becomes a beast that devours its owner, forcing him to face the root problem: his untamed animal nature.
2. The Eternal Struggle: Restraining Animality Through Bonding
Understanding this inherent struggle between the “animal” nature and the “spiritual” breath within the human being is the key to grasping the necessity of bonding. This is not mere philosophical theory—it is the reality upon which human destiny is decided. Virtue, in this context, is defined as the conscious act of “not unleashing animality.” It is not the absence of evil, but the constant restraint of primitive impulses. Absolute freedom, by contrast, is the total release of this animality without restraint.
From this perspective, every form of evil and corruption in the world is the inevitable result of a “defect in bonding.” This defect is not merely moral failure, but existential collapse. When the inner restraint breaks, all other bonds disintegrate: psychological, intellectual, bodily, familial, societal, and even cosmic bonds. Unguided freedom dismantles everything. This rejection of the soul’s innate need for a supreme regulator leads inevitably to the search for the highest form of bonding: voluntary servitude to the Creator.
3. Servitude as Liberation: Redefining the Supreme Bond
Here we reach the most radical point of this discourse: redefining “servitude” not as humiliation or oppression, but as the highest form of purposeful bonding and true liberation from inner chaos and existential disorder. In a world where constants erode and bonds dissolve, finding a reference and regulator becomes the greatest treasure. Hence the shocking truth of our age: “Whoever finds his Lord today has found a treasure.”
This understanding reshapes our conception of Paradise and Hell:
- Paradise: not a realm of absolute freedom, but a “garden” of refinement and discipline. Its inhabitants are “servants” not by coercion, but by structure. For the decisive truth is: “The free-willed do not enter Paradise.” Unrestrained will would corrupt it.
- Hell: the complete release of animal nature, the return to chaos, loss, and meaninglessness.
4. Mystical Union: God Manifest in Man and Man in God
Here we enter the deepest spiritual dimension: the theological mechanism of complete bonding, manifested as a reciprocal relationship between the Divine and the human.
This union revolves around two fundamental dimensions:
- The divine aspect within man: the breath of the Spirit, the implanted non-natural distinction— manifest in conscious hearing, seeing, remembering, and the heart that understands (hearing, sight, and heart).
- The human aspect of God: not incarnation, but divine manifestation through descent and through a refined human soul that becomes a clear mirror of divine will.
When these two realities meet, the “original bond” is formed— the highest conceivable relationship. The soul ceases to resist the spirit within it, just as God does not resist Himself.

Conclusion: Embrace Meaning to Find Your Existence
The final message is clear: salvation does not lie in release, but in conscious embrace. Embrace meaning—embrace it— and meaning will embrace you.
