Taoist Philosophy and the Union of Creator and Created, Spiritual Abilities, and the Unified Field: Answering Various Questions
How to Be Both the Origin and the Source at the Same Time:
Let us begin with the following statement: "From here, there is no creator. Nothing produces something. Everything produces itself and does not come from something else. This is the natural order of the universe" (Tao Te Ching, p. 31).
This statement encapsulates a profound idea: there is no creator, meaning that everything emerges from itself, or that "everything emerges from the Tao." Here, the Tao represents the ever-flowing river of divinity. This statement refers us to the principle of spontaneity and self-origin, implying that everything comes from itself rather than from something else in an endless chain. This principle challenges the illusion that you are a product of something outside of you—that you are created and separate from your creator, which necessitates obedience and worship. In reality, our emergence from the divine does not mean we were "created"; rather, we emerged from ourselves and of our own volition. Thus, humans are not born of circumstances or a separate creator but are self-originating, a result of self-emergence, as is everything else. This means that everything is both created and creator simultaneously.
The unity of creator and created does not contradict logic. When wisdom is attained, one understands that everything emerges from itself and from the divine at the same time because everything is itself divine. It's a matter of perspective; you might see a person as created because of their form, but from a perspective of oneness and completeness, that same person is divinity. When you emerge from the divine, you emerge from your true self; you do not emerge from something specific but from everything. Therefore, you are not the product of something else but of everything. To understand this further, we refer to another quote from the same text:
- The Tao that can be spoken of is not the eternal Tao;
- The name that can be named is not the eternal name.
- The nameless is the beginning of heaven and earth.
- The named is the mother of ten thousand things.
- Always without desire, one can observe the hidden mystery.
Always desiring, one can see the manifestations.
Taoist philosophy encourages us to move beyond dualities like desire and pain. According to Taoism, desire is what conceals the truth; once desire is extinguished, one can see beyond the veil and perceive the whole picture. Just as the Tao that can be spoken of is not the eternal Tao, the spiritual experience that can be described in words is not the true spiritual experience.
Spiritual Abilities:
We previously explained that everything in the universe operates under fixed laws, and nothing can go beyond these. Hence, miracles cannot be genuine since nothing can break cosmic laws. But why then are spiritual abilities considered supernatural, and sometimes even classified as miracles? The answer is simple: spiritual abilities are merely the result of specific universal laws known only to the chosen. Spiritual abilities, in essence, are the knowledge of these particular laws and the capacity to use them. When someone possesses spiritual abilities, it means they have the ability to act autonomously.
However, these spiritual abilities may seem unusual in this dimension, causing some confusion and leading people to believe they are miracles—but this is not the case. It is the limited perception within this dimension that makes these abilities appear extraordinary. In truth, these spiritual abilities are a result of perceiving the universe through different laws and dimensions, or a shift in perspective. This means that rather than breaking the dimension, you have accessed another level of consciousness, allowing you to see or do what you did. You shift to another dimension where that thing is real and possible, while it may be deemed impossible in your current dimension.
The Relationship Between Spiritual Abilities, Senses, and the Unified Field:
The unified field in physics has had various names across cultures: the Tao, the ever-flowing divine river, Araf (in some traditions), or the river where all divine rivers flow into. For us, the unified field is the divine mercy that connects everything. Since everything in existence is connected to this unified field—including humans—you can, by connecting with it, be everywhere and at any time. In other words, you gain the ability to encompass everything, or gain a comprehensive view by unifying your senses into a single sense that links you to this divine river or unified sense.
Spiritual ability, therefore, is the capacity to act according to cosmic laws by connecting to everything through the Tao, rather than from the limited perspective of your created self. Acting through your fragmented senses or your individual field is what causes you suffering and deprives you of connecting to the unified field. To better understand the unified field, consider it as an absolute state of your limited senses. It is like an eye that sees everything or an ear that hears everything, encompassing all senses as a unified whole. Separating your senses from one another prevents you from seeing the whole truth, as you perceive it through a single perspective, such as hearing or seeing. To perceive the complete truth, you must connect to the unified field by integrating your senses.
Experiencing this sensory unification can feel like losing or abandoning your senses, as they become unified, connecting you to the unified field. This has led some to believe that connecting with the unified field requires abandoning sense perception, which is a misconception. Engaging with the source is sensory, but using the five senses separately makes you perceive this single dimension as five distinct ones, which in turn separates you from the source. Hence, we say that the five senses are the archons creating the illusion that separates you from the source or single dimension.
To simplify, let us consider the spiritual ability to see what is unseen and hear what is unheard. This ability results from connection to the unified field. This connection enables you to perceive through your unified sense what your limited senses cannot; for example, someone tells you about an incident, and through your connection to the unified field, you gain awareness of it with all your senses, including details the other person missed. The secret to this is, quite simply, strong faith and certainty that you exist at all times and in all places. Of course, this is not in a physical sense but a perceptual one. The truth lies in this concept and your certain belief that you are beyond your boundaries, which allows you to connect with this unified dimension that unifies all senses. Thus, you cease to be an independent element of this dimension; rather, you become the dimension itself and part of it, flowing through it as it flows through you. This understanding requires experience, for all spiritual abilities stem from this belief and the concept that there is an existence connected to everything. When you connect to it, you know all things or see all things. The idea is simple, yet its application is challenging, as circumstances and events will attempt to distract you from this notion and convince you otherwise.
Let us take another example, outside the realm of spirituality: a person struggling with their current circumstances is trapped within them. On the other hand, one who can rise above these circumstances and view the world from a holistic perspective can unify the piece and the whole picture to find the unified meaning.
Answering Followers' Questions:
Q1: Is the matrix the reason for our unhappiness because it traps us?
A: The matrix is not the cause of your unhappiness; rather, it’s your belief in it and your interaction with it that allows it to influence you, making you feel unhappy because of it. You can consider the matrix as a temporary incubator to eventually emerge from. To achieve this, you need to realize that the role it has assigned to you, the role you represent within it, is not your true self. If you consider that role as your true self, you won’t be able to leave and transition to a better cycle or matrix.
The real reason for human unhappiness and suffering is a lack of meaning. Engaging in meaningless actions causes suffering. Even the reason for your coming into this life makes you seek meaning. If life lacked purpose, it would be pointless. Humanity was created with meaning, as meaning and humanity are two sides of the same coin, since humans are the only beings who search for and understand meaning. Humanity is, therefore, the essence of existence.
Q2: What happens after reaching certainty and truth?
A: Reaching certainty means stepping outside of time, so those who achieve it don’t ask "What’s next?" This question comes only from someone without certainty.
Some reach a high level of awareness and still find themselves filled with questions, which is common. It’s essential to move beyond questions and realize that every question you ask is its own answer. Sometimes, the question itself can be a trap, leading you to search for something external and separate from you. Thus, you should be cautious and avoid such traps that may lower your level of awareness. For example, young children are eager to learn and ask questions, but a sign of maturity is contentment — they stop seeking and questioning, even with themselves.
Q3: What is true enlightenment?
A: Enlightenment is reaching complete light. We all carry a part of this light within us, and the goal is to perfect and complete it by attaining full light. We’ve explained that the spiritual journey is about integration, not fragmentation, as division and separation are the engines of evil and deficiency.
Q4: How do you know you've reached enlightenment?
A: Reaching enlightenment means the ability to unite parts, enabling you to see the complete picture and understand its meaning, expressing it in your unique way. This occurs through connecting with the unified dimension and reaching the light. It’s like viewing a painting from a distance to see the connections between its details and components, comprehending the overall meaning. Looking at each part in isolation prevents you from understanding the meaning. This holistic view signifies your attainment of enlightenment and wisdom. Enlightenment means entering the Akashic records, which represent records of the unified field or unified perception, resembling an observation tower that allows a 360° view.
Q5: Does distorted programming hinder spiritual abilities?
A: Programming is a pattern designed to begin with a premise and reach a specific result, similar to computer programming, where certain premises and conditions yield specific outcomes. The soul cannot be considered programming; it represents the ability to communicate with the programmer or the capacity for programming. Distorted programming does hinder spiritual abilities.
Distortion, dissonance, or error hinders spiritual abilities, as the soul cannot read errors. Errors confuse the soul, as it cannot comprehend them, similar to a computer encountering a programming error and halting with an error message. Likewise, for humans in general, mistakes or sins are distortions that obstruct spiritual ability.
For example, a person feeling stuck in a situation, like a business project that isn’t moving forward, means they are doing something wrong, which keeps them from progressing and repels customers. The same applies to your spiritual journey; if you’re stuck and unsure of what to do, you’re certainly doing something wrong. By doing everything correctly, you will achieve the right result.
Q6: What’s your opinion on multiple lives, and what proof is there of their existence?
A: The issue of multiple lives is personal and relative, and it’s not as important as it’s often made out to be. What matters is the present moment; don’t let your search for past lives hold you back. There’s also another perspective suggesting that past lives are being lived now. For those asking for proof, there’s no proof except to experience it for yourself to understand. True ascension means ceasing the search, having faith and certainty that you’ve reached everything.
