Non-procreation and the Relationship of Procreation with the Forbidden Fruit: When Humanity Ends, Humanity Will Begin

Is There a Rational Justification for Procreation:

There is a close relationship between procreation, spiritual matters, and the duality of paradise and hell. Procreation serves as a gateway to enter the earthly experience. Since ancient times, procreation has been revered and multiplied to the point where it became a measure of masculinity and accomplishment, linking quantitative reproduction to an individual’s worth. This leads us to ask: Is there a rational and genuine justification for procreation? The most common inherited answer is that it’s the way of life. If so, the natural order governing this cosmic law requires bearing the responsibility for this child and dedicating oneself to serving them for life, as you are the cause of their existence. But what we often see is the opposite; the child arrives as a result of unawareness, finding themselves in possibly harsh conditions, subject to reproach, expected to acknowledge parental benevolence, and fulfill the parent’s aspirations as their extension, which is an injustice to the child. Some link this matter to the soul, but the soul has no connection to procreation or abundance; procreation is tied to the lowest level of consciousness—sexuality—making it its fruit. Justifying procreation with the soul is erroneous since the reason for entering this earthly experience is being drawn to this dimension by dark forces, not by the soul. Claiming it is God’s will is a poor excuse, as it attributes one's fault to God. Does God command procreation only to leave children in suffering? Others pose another question to justify procreation: What will happen to humanity if we stop procreating? Will the cycle of life end? Upon examining this question, we find it needs correcting; we should ask, “What will happen to what lies beyond the bodies?” Bodies are what multiply, while the soul is not subject to such conditions. Therefore, ask yourself what your concern is with humanity’s multiplication and the continuity of kings and oppressive regimes. What’s your stake in preserving someone else's reign that would merge your fate with theirs? Saying procreation is compulsive is also a weak justification, as there is no true cause forcing you to procreate. If you did it under the pressure of satisfying desires, it’s because you relied on your unconscious; if you were conscious, you wouldn’t have pursued worldly desires and would have minimized them as much as possible.

What Is the Goodness of Procreation?

Good and righteous deeds are those that reflect noble and essential meanings. Returning to common justifications for procreation, we find they stem from natural or social programming we can summarize as the unconscious, pleasure, the desire for immortality, and derivation.

We mentioned that procreation is the fruit of an unconscious drive—sexuality—so it’s often the result of moments of unawareness. If it were a truly good act, it would have a profound, meaningful extension and wouldn’t be subject to the extortion and dominance of lust. If you were conscious, you wouldn’t do it, and if you did, you would do so with awareness and assume responsibility for your action and its consequences. Also, if this act were not related to pleasure and associated with pain, most would abandon it; and if chosen, it would be part of a noble purpose and conscious planning. Other reasons include the desire for immortality and the eating of the forbidden fruit, as discussed in the creation story. The father wishes to live on through his son, the mother through her daughter, and society through the transmission of its teachings across generations. This immortality is only for bodies, as the desire for procreation is linked to selfishness, a wish for continuity, and an aversion to life’s cessation. Moreover, procreation is considered an unconscious act or one lacking rational justification, as it leads to derivation. The ideal is to return to the original state in unity, while procreation is a derivative act where you derive a child by transferring your genetic information, which opposes the standard of wholeness and completeness, reflecting satisfaction with oneself without derivation.

Procreation Against Quality and Scarcity: A Mine for Creating Wealth for the Matrix Lords

Procreation entails abundance and multiplicity, and this exaggerated abundance is the cause of the tragedies we witness, including classism, enslavement, tyranny, and economic problems like unemployment, poverty, and ignorance. This haphazard abundance hinders finding solutions to these crises. We see the poor, for instance, striving to procreate unconsciously, offering themselves up for servitude by doing so. There are also those who bring children into crises and wars—what are they aiming to achieve with such selfish acts when the individual has lost value as a human, becoming a mere statistic, a head among others enslaved? If one of them does not submit, there are hundreds more; why should he elevate or honor them? If hundreds or thousands die, it’s inconsequential because there are multitudes in reserve. Wisdom lies not in abundance but in rarity and quality; hence, those at the top embrace scarcity, recognizing its value, while encouraging abundance for others to their own advantage. If we say that procreation and reproduction are natural acts and that nature desires them, this act doesn’t serve the individual but rather the controlling groups. Whenever you find yourself facing a duality of intimidation and temptation, know that there is obscurity and hidden reasons preventing you from seeing the truth of the matter, as awareness, meaning, and wisdom are neutral, independent, clear, and centered in zero.

The purpose of this discourse is not to promote non-procreation but rather to raise awareness of the idea of abundance and scarcity, as wisdom does not lie in nonexistence but in rarity. If we talk about abundance, we speak of inferiority and lowliness, as God says: "Alhakum altakathur hatta zurtumu almaqabir kalla sawfa taAAlamuna thumma kalla sawfa taAAlamuna kalla law taAAlamoona AAilma alyaqeeni latarawunna aljaheema thumma latarawunnaha AAayna alyaqeeni thumma latus-alunna yawma-ithin AAani alnnaAAeemi." [Surah Al-Takathur]. After these verses, what justifies their multiplication and derivation? And if we accept that "Wealth and children are the adornment of the life of this world, but the enduring good deeds are better with your Lord for reward and better in hope" [Surah Al-Kahf 46], then this adornment remains tied to worldly life. Everything related to it is low and distant from loftiness; the adornment of wealth and children cannot be considered wise, as wisdom has nothing to do with adornment and superficial embellishment devoid of essence; it exists independently.

The issue in itself does not concern procreation but its consequences. If one wishes to procreate, they must be aware of their action, conscious of its repercussions, and ready to provide and make available all means and paths before the child. However, the situation we see is the opposite; the majority bring children into harsh conditions unfit for humanity, an inhumane and selfish act by the procreator, then attempt to integrate them forcefully into life and the surrounding conditions through upbringing. Children do not need this, as they are inherently educated by nature, and the upbringing they try to impose on them is an attempt to break their wings so they don’t soar, training and distorting them, attempting to integrate and adapt them to life to the extent that they grow up programmed to continue life in the same way. True upbringing involves providing ideal conditions for them and protecting them from harm and various evils. What excuse does one have for bringing a child into the world amid a raging war, and what justification does a poor person have for bringing a child to fight poverty from childhood? Their psychological drive for procreation is the desire to see their lust fulfilled and doubled, witnessing it manifested in reality. Socially, their procreation merely adds a new tool in the hands of society. Others procreate with the hope of reversing the scales, acting instinctively like animals, a natural programming shared between humans and animals, making procreation the source of all subsequent evils.
