The Role of Peace in Liberation from the Unconscious and Achieving Consciousness

Liberation occurs through honesty and transparency, whether on an individual or collective level. The first step toward liberation is acknowledgment: acknowledge your shortcomings, your desires, and your love for life. Accept others so you can coexist naturally. Free yourself sexually without arrogance, for arrogance stems from pride. If you love life, admit it and learn how to handle it. Accept the poles and givens of life, for this acknowledgment provides us the space to coexist with each other, whereas isolation causes the opposite effect.

If you are closed off, rejecting others and the differences between you, what, then, is the difference between you and Satan, who claimed, “I am better than him,” glorifying his own pride and self-interest over others, seeing them only as means to fulfill his desires and refusing to acknowledge their existence? God, with complete power and authority, did not subject creation to one single law but rather established various traditions and manifestations, languages, forms, and colors… Yet someone with a Satanic tongue speaks with an extreme, all-encompassing tone, calling to abolish others. By what authority does he command such things? This power belongs to God alone, yet He did not use it, for His will has decreed that differences have the right to exist. Despite this, some demand uniformity in a single way, seeking to unify differences by force and rejecting others.

Dealing with Unconscious Drives

Liberation does not come by abolishing unconscious drives in humans, for removing them would violate the laws of nature. If they were meant to be removed, they would not have been instilled within us. Do not fall into the trap of abandoning instinct, for if you reject it, you defy divine universal will. Like one who tries to overcome the sexual drive by abstaining and avoiding it, this will lead to the death of that drive within them. The same is true with emotional denial and suppression, which leads you to kill another essential drive necessary for the fullness of life. Thus, you must recognize these drives for the vital role they play in life. Without them, life would not be balanced. You must achieve harmony and balance between them, and this can only happen with awareness. At that point, you enter a state of harmony and peace that occurs when the drives move in coordinated movement with one another, symbolizing a state of love. Order then prevails, and this order is harmony, which gives life meaning. We previously explained that the path to purity, perfection, and salvation is to correct the path and realize the principle of peace. Peace calls for the union of opposites in harmony and proportion. When one side overwhelms the other, it leads to a state of war and the loss of security.

Laws and Society

The same applies to society. Laws for society are like the orders and inspiration of the soul for an individual. A society can only exist through fair laws—those that create harmony among the members of society. There should not be a marginalized group and a dominant one; every individual has the right to exercise their citizenship and their freedom, provided they respect the freedom of others. This is the state of peace and harmony in society, where the law acts as a firm guardian against those who disrupt this harmony and determines their penalties. Likewise, God deals with criminals, for they obstruct the cosmic order and the peaceful and righteous path. If He left them unchecked, they would corrupt the earth and shed blood, so it is necessary to put an end to this corruption.
